I agree it looks sharp!

I'd say that is a KTM Adventure front fender on either Meca'System or Rally Raid Products brackets to mount to EXC legs... I had a similar set-up on my Tenere (WP forks) and WR450.

Jeeze ….. well done that man. That looks great.

I just saw mine for the first time at the weekend. Forgot to take a picture in its virgin state before running it in and throwing it up a Welsh hillside.
Now its all dirty.

You won't be disappointed with the HDB kit. I also see you have went for the Ohlins and comfy seat. Very nice.

See you there.

my bad .. the graphic makes it look like it has channels in the top but now that I look closer at the brake line mount and the meca type mounting I can tell now that my eyes played tricks on me.. 50 is just months away and need my readers more often !

Thanks, the graphics came from LR Designs http://www.lr-designs.co.uk/ the low fender came from rallyraidproducts.co.uk I pinched it off my 690 and had it sprayed black.
Yep comfy seat for the Tuareg 2014 this year, by the end of the rally in previous years my arse is blistered and my knee joints are knackered so I hope to finish the rally being still be able to walk and sit down without pain. I know some entrants aim to win but if I can still move around at the end of the week un aided I will be happy!

And to the guy with 50 year old eyes mine are 49 and I know exactly what you mean, Oh to have 20 year old eyes and come to think of it the body as well, but with the disposable income of a 50 year old :)

Very flash looking piece of kit! But surely that's not enough fuel for the Tuareg?

Forums say 20 -25km per litre so if I can average 15km per litre I have 11.5 litres 172 km of fuel in the tank + an emergency litre for an event where max required is a range of 160 km, 15\ 48 gearing, but yes fingers crossed

R,

Should be fine for most of the days, but watch out for day six. Its a long way to CP3 after going through the dunes in the morning.

I was out of fuel and was rescued by one of the Suzuki Jimny teams. (Either Jimny Tarbuck or Jimny Cricket, I'm not sure, but I owe him a couple of litres)

D.
