Ico

I know the ICO Checkmate is an enduro unit, but isn't it made by the same company that makes the Rallye VRL?

I am asking because the Checkmate product is not listed on the icoracing website?

Edit: I just found info that ICO no longer sells or supports the Checkmate.

The CheckMate production stopped a long while back. The CPU was no longer available and the market wasn't there to re-design it.

ICO is focusing on rally now. Long history there. The Rallye computer was developed with input from MD way back in the day.

All wired up now and working. Compatible with f2r roadbooks and RNS/ICO tripmasters...
I just have to get some potting silicone to seal it all up then ready for someone to rally test!

That looks a great solution for those with not enough bar space. When do you think you'll have it in production? Any plans to make an IMO 100R50 compatible version?

Not sure exactly and this might be getting slightly off topic and into vendor category...

It shouldnt be hard to make it IMO 100R50 compatible either by supplying an adaptor cable or a connector to put on your existing cable. Have you got a photo of the current connector on the IMO?

Good work Gany.

IMOs have three cables, much like ICOs but the connectors are the bulky waterproof ones. We have made the Aurora switches to work for IMOs as well, we can chat about it when I go back to the lab and get my hands on one if you want.

The switch is looking good! Congrats on that Neat solution for those running the bike for normal Enduro stuff and occasionaly they go rallying. I like it

It would be easy enough for an end user to add the correct connectors etc. Looks the biz and perfect for me. Will keep an eye on your progress.

It's easy to connect the wires you can do it yourself. I did the same with my F2R switch.

Gents,

A bit of general feed back.

Just completed the Tuareg using the HDB Nav tower set up (inc. hand guards), and the Aurora road book holder. This was installed on a 2014, KTM 500 exc Six Days.

Both sets of equipment integrated very well with each other and both performed faultlessly even in my incompetent hands. I can confirm they are "idiot proof" !!

A heavy WWF type slap down to the ground on day two saw the hand guard and fairing/mask take the load leaving the tower and road book holder unscathed.

Navigation was perfect all week with no penalties. This was, to some extent, made possible due having a completely reliable road book holder which did not require ANY manual manipulation throughout the week. Thats the first time in 7 international rally's that I have been able to say that.

Now I just need to speed everything up a bit. Roll on Hellas.
