I made a splitter / extension for the KTMs. Takes the signal from the stock pickup, splits it off to the stock odo and to the ICO. Also extends the stock cable so you can mount up high on the roadbook.
I am just too busy right now, with my projects, to make up more. ![]() I will be selling it this summer on www.RallyMotoKit.com when I can sit down and assemble some. |

On a KTM dirtbike, there's also a spot where you can drill/ tap the brake caliper carrier and run a second ICO pickup, where it picks up the stock magnet. Yes, that makes the magnet a single point of failure, but in many tens of thousands of abuse, I've never seen one come off.

All day in the garage
![]() I cleaned the carbs. It seems the batt is going. One of my ex crew dogs came thru with some clamps today. As far as 300 or so dollars for an ico at least a better mounting kit I would think?

** I would watch the point where you stopped cutting the plastic sleeve off your brake line. It will want to pivot at that point more what anywhere else and eventually fail at that point. My suggestion, cut all of the sleeve off. |

I like it. What are the size of the drill and tap I need to buy/use? :)

Can not remember off the top of my head. Ned had a machinist perform this. I suggest you do the same. You can not just tap all the way thru or the pickup will hit the rotor.

Got a package in the mail from HDB yesterday....
![]() ![]() The pocket on the bottom was machined for a Watchdog computer that is currently on my bike. I know everyone likes the ICO but the Watchdog is made in New England by a local Enduro guy, so I felt compelled to use one. The Watchdog seems to be the favorite of the local hardcore Enduro riders and they take a wicked beating from the nasty New England terrain and survive. The numbers are also larger than the ICO ![]() http://www.dugasengineering.com/dewebsite2010_002.htm Big thanks to Paul for making these!

Werd up. I could not find a razor knife so had to chip away at the cover with a Gerber knife. Blood was drawn so we stopped when we cleared the last p clamp zone. I'm jumping on the low rider in the morning and heading to Garmisch for a day ride to clear my head. To bad it's Sunday or I would stop in at Tourtech HQ in Munich and buy that mag bolt.

![]() On that note, mine has withstood about 1000kms of dirt track / stones / 3 or 4 crashes etc... only had to bend it back into place once. I'll see if I can take a better picture today |
