What if they had some advance notice that a few irregulars were going to show up? Chance of additional fare?

the deli in crockett has good food, also, and if you're headed there from Port Costa, the place on the right belongs to Clayton Bailey, artist. he used to have a gallery in the warehouse

Yeah, I could go for that- or I could just be ok with beer and popcorn and nuts.

Well, the Warehouse says it's ok to bring in outside food on the weeknights (as long as it's nothing "too extravagant"). So I'm going to stop somewhere and get a deli sandwich or a few slices of cheeseboard pizza. And I've got about 10 paper plates I can bring along, in case anyone else is doing the same.

seeya,

Same to you!

That was a good one. My fork seals seem to have developed a leak on the way back though. . . . . I got home with my helmet visor all misted with suspension oil, and one of my brake discs very oily and non-functional. Guess this'll be a maintenance weekend.

The ride over from Berkeley was pretty fun, and the warehouse at Port Costa works just fine on a mid-week night - just have to plan ahead a bit on the comestibles. Thanks to Zak and Guy for sandwiches, and to TireBiter and his charming wife Lee Ann for the brie.

Good to meet the rest of you regulars.

+1 on that. I grabbed a bite before meeting up but dove head first into the brie anyway. It was fun seeing everyone. Hope we keep this going. Also thinking that we need a tech-day one of these days. I may offer my garage though it's a bit small (one car garage).

For those of you who missed it, try to get there next time. It was a lot of fun.

Cheers

The return home did not turn out as I thought. Being on the back of someone's bike puts you at their whim. Love the pick with the polar bear. Next time ham it up a little more.
