Tuesday now, Wed/Thursday in December

Hey Gang.

No matter what night we pick someone will have a conflict. Let's stick with Tuesday this time and then do either Wednesday or Thursday in December.

Peace

I really don't want to miss this one, but Carnegie needs our help:

As many Bay Area off-roaders already know, the California OHV Division will be hosting an open house to present the preferred concept at a series of work stations. This is an update on the General Plan process and the preferred concept. The preferred concept was developed based on detailed resource and constraints information, and on stakeholder comments received on the three concept alternatives presented in June/July 2013.

Normally these types of public meetings are low key affairs attended by users of the park. However, the Carnegie SVRA/Tesla/East Bay Regional Park District fight has become a regional battle between hard-core anti-OHV groups and those of us who support responsible OHV use on land purchased with OHV Trust Fund monies back in the 1990s.

The Sierra Club upped the ante on November 6 when they issued an alert to their Bay Area supporters to come and overrun the meeting. Just as the OHV community responded with massive turnouts during the East Bay Park public meetings last year, BRC is asking you to do the same on November 12.

Why would they want to get rid of Carnegie? Sierra Club is good, right?
Many factions working in different directions with the same result.

If we are talking Englander (and not Carnegie) their lot fills up quick but plenty of parking on street, especially on Washington at the corner of Parrot.

Is this still a 6PM thing? I'll head down in any event.
