I'm hungry (and thirsty). Is there a plan together for this month's meet?

Hey.

Was there last week. No food yet, and not a lot of room. I liked their old place better, but the beer is still good.

Cheers

I'd vote for somewhere with outside seating. Daylight savings baby!!!

- Speisakammer
- Englander
- Pac Coast
- Pyramid
- Or.... First and Last Chance Saloon
- Monaghan's On the Hill ($3 Drafts and wells till 7pm)

Yay for sunset after 7:15 PM!!

Damn, Kevan. You are the official ADV beer scout! So, these guys are Ale Industries (and they do a fine job brewing), but they moved entirely from Detroit Ave.? They used to have a caterer on Fridays but I guess they don't do that anymore?

Well, I might head over to:
OL Beer in WC. You can bring food in and sit at their tables and have brew and eat. Plenty of food shops within walking.
http://www.beer-shop.org

Now, I can't make up my mind! Help!

Last time at Brotzeit Lokal Boathaus & Biergarten some of you mentioned another place nearby in Oakland. Anyone remember the name?

How about for April we head back over to the REAL (tm) East Bay? You know, Walnut Creek, Concord, etc.

Cheers

Kevan

And not to nitpick, but the term is "Village Drunk".

But thanks for the thought.

Cheers

Sure then - April over yonder beyond that tunnel. But the real East Bay is clearly defined by WiKi - which holds all truths right??

"The East Bay is a commonly used, informal term for the lands on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally referring only to cities along the immediate northeast shore of the San Francisco Bay and the southeast shore of San Pablo Bay, the definition of the region described has grown with the expansion of the Bay Area's population and infrastructure to include all of Alameda and Contra Costa counties"

Kevin - for March, we were referring to "QUINN'S LIGHTHOUSE" on Embarcadero. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you just throw peanuts all over the floor at will....and act like a drunken sailor.

It's a perfect setup for us FF's - tons of beer, wine, drinks, food, and free peanuts.

Sounds good. Can't remember if we are on a Tuesday or Wednesday this month. Shall we say either Tuesday, the 18th or Wednesday the 19th?

And can somebody remind Steven to make it this time?

Gringo? You there?

Cheers

Yup - they have pirate nights each month - not sure if it is on March 19th, but it would be cool to see some ADV crew dressed up. You would NOT look out of place in full garb.

So sad. Maybe I'll just go, hang out, and smell the bacon.

Pirate Night... pirate like "arrgh Matey" or pirate like "lookatmeeeeeee! I'm riding a shiny loud penis extension!"?
