Leave The Wall at 5pm?
How about 5:15, so I can make it after work.

I'm having difficulties with google maps right now, but it's a pullout along grizzly peak between the junction with centenial and south park drive. Google maps puts it as 1.1 miles south of centennial, or 1.9 miles north of the junction with claremont/fish ranch roads. You'll know you're there when you see the newish wood benches, one of which is mounted on two working motorcycle fork legs.

And we're meeting there wednesday the 13th.

Could somebody let Joe know where the wall is so we don't have to go looking for him after dark. (inside joke). Actually, might be easier, Joe, to meet some of Oaklanders then ride out if you're coming from SF.

Kind of a shame there is no wall at the Wall anymore. It certainly was a distinguishing landmark given what the place is called So if you get to the wall and there is no wall- you have found the place!

Does that help?

So, about where point B is on this map? I must be close. When I switched to street view, there was motorcycle there.

That's it, close enough for practical purposes.

All right, show of hands, who's planning on being at the warehouse on wednesday evening? Guy and I will make some sandwiches and bring some coffee, other refreshments may be available as well, and the warehouse has a killer selection of beer and a stuffed polar bear to top it all off. What more could you want?

Oh, and there will be people there to talk motorcycles with, if you're into that sort of thing.

I'll be at the wall by 5pm.
Group will leave for Port Costa around 5:15 - 5:30, or whenever Zak and Guy get there.
Sound good?

I'll be there! Eric will join me if he gets home from work in time. I'll probably bring some curry chicken salad.
Don't worry, Zak; I'll put extra bacon in it for you

In for sure. I'll bring some food also. And plates/utensils just in case.

Silly me. Was just planning on grabbing a beer or two and probably a burger. So there's no local food onsite or is there something else motivating the picnic?

I'll be there. If I can't make the wall in time, I'll just see you in Port Costa.

Planning on it. Don't wait for me at the Wall, I might be stuck in traffic.
