Greg and Jeff- It was good riding back to Concord with you guys. The first rain of the year can be sketchy on the roads.

I'd like to propose EJ Phair in Concord for our next meet and eat. They have good beers and, IMHO, some of the best pub food I have ever had. Since we did Wednesday this month, let's go with Tuesday next month.

Here's how I spent my weekend...


Tami and Eric invited me along on a birthday dual sport ride that their friend, David, has every year. I was far and away the least-experienced rider of the bunch, but I held my own and learned a lot.

On the way home through the delta, I found an open gate and went exploring some corn fields. Cool network of tractor trails.

I had an equally nice weekend ride out in Mammoth Lakes area. Took Tioga over, rode 2 days, then back. JustPaul, and Nathan B. Weather was fantastic, riding was fantastic, and a really great place to get diverse experience.

Great pics Chris! Thanks for sharing. I'm taking my bike up to the logging trails near Donner next week. I'll post some photo's when I get back. Hope to visit Carnegie again with you in early November.
