Zina (RacerWife) would be happy to introduce you to swimming in the Bay. I think she likes that better than motorcycles.

I used to swim in the Bay several times per week. I'd go from Robert Crown to Bay Farm Island and back. Bursitis and no ear drum put an end to my cold-water swimming

The Warehouse in Port Costa. 6:00-6:30ish start time. A handful of folks are riding from the Wall (in Berkeley?) as a group, including a SuperSport Goldwing (TM).

See you there.

I see, I work right below the wall, see you there around 5:30? It's usually not much fun during these hours, lots of commute traffic, cops etc.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just be at the Warehouse about 6 PM. We'll get some fun in on the way over, delta and all that.

I'll be there about then- maybe we'll plan on leaving at 5:40, if we're not there, find your own way out? grizzly peak and wildcat have commute traffic, but once you cross SPDR, things are not bad at all, it's usually a nice ride.

To all the folks who didnt know, didnt read, didnt feel like reading back in the thread.
You dont have to be from the east bay, we welcome everybody...almost.
It's our annual "coffee first" meet and drink
We are meeting tomorrow Wednesday 05/15/2013 around 6pm.
At the Warehouse in Port Costa.
Some of us are meeting at the "wall" in Berkeley around 5:30pm for a RELAXED joint ride.
Its a potluck kind of thingy so please try to bring what ever you like to eat and some to share... But dont feel bad if you happen to not bring something.

P.S- If you were hoping to meet WoodsChick....she is not coming, she has boat kind of thingy.

Tubeless wheels from Woody. Tire looks bad, I wouldnt plug it.
Need to get 150-70-17 dual sport tire or just sport in Berkeley somewhere tomorrow. Going on a 3 day trip on saturday. I always used online retailers, but dont have time for that right now.
Any suggestions?

California Sport touring in Hercules would be my first call, 510-741-3700, or go there: 636 Alfred Nobel drive, Hercules. Not sure if they would have something in stock, but I often see v-stroms and bmws in the parking lot, so there's a good chance. Plus it's where benjava used to work, so that's always good karma. . . . I buy all my tires there, their prices are usually the same or better than online, believe it or not.

If you had an 18" rear tire I could help.
