I keep having a schedule conflict, but work has let up a little. Hopefully next time.

On an unrelated topic... does anybody here have a factory Wolfman rack for their saddle bags? I'd like to take a few measurements from them. They don't sell them for the Strom, and I'm not crazy about the velcro attachment system they use on non-factory racks.

You should come by my place and have a look at the rack I built for my 'Strom. IMHO, it compares favorably in fit, finish, and is superior in function to any commercially available rack. I could be convinced to replicate it for you.

Hey Al.

I would love to see that. Maybe at the next gathering? I am thinking around Tuesday (hear that WoodsChick?) August 6th, maybe in Walnut Creek? Say Pyramid?

Now before we get into another "Where does the East Bay become Sacramento?" argument, I was thinking about organizing a ride up Mt. Diablo before the meeting for those of you who can sneak out of work early.

Anyone interested?

Cheers

Kevan

Aug 6 no good

I fully expect BART to be on strike and myself committed to non-play activity as a direct result of that strike. It would be nice to be proven wrong.

I missed our get-together at Brotzeit Lokal - due to a colleague's farewell event at Vo's in Oakland on the same night. Wife and I stopped by there for dinner on Saturday, after visiting "PedalFest" at Jack London Sq.

I can't do the 6th, we at CityBike are doing a Pizza party. (Shameless plug: look in the August issue for details, going to press tomorrow, delivery to local shops next 3 days, should be done by Thursday).

Feel free to PM me if you want to visit the rack.

I have a set hanging in the garage that I haven't mounted to my XRL. Your welcome to come check them out.
