HELP! Wild @ Heart Crashbars

I just got my Wild @ Heart crashbars for my F8 but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the "L" shaped brackets mounted. I removed the plastics and found where the radiator mounts to the frame (x2 screws) but the hex screws given to attach the bracket are too big for the holes available. Do I need to tap the holes for the larger screw? Or am I completely not where I need to be. I put the bars roughly in place and tried to see if that's the proper location and it appears to be but the angles don't really seem to match up either. Any help or insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Got it!!!

Never mind folks! Figured it out! A few of the Pacific Northwest's finest brews got me to thinking creatively. If anyone has trouble with these bars in the future hit me up. They really aren't too difficult.

wild heart

Hope you like em. they are a bit odd but give the best coverage so it seems.
assuming you do not need to remove the side panels then all bets are off.
