Thanks "Mancunian"
These items caught my eye in the windy month just gone, especially the pics of the old bridge at Baitings Dam in the Ryeburn Valley Reservoir courtesy of “Yorkie”, and the village of Ashopton now under Ladybower Reservoir, posted by “Mancunian”. http://wp.me/p2UWBr-20N

Ridiculous bridge in the middle of nowhere bolivia
Came upon this bridge in between Sucre and Santa Cruz Bolivia, no towns, people, or traffic for over 100km's; but yet they had built this massive bridge connecting two dirt roads.... hahaha

show us your bike @ the bridge
Part of the fun of every thread on ADVrider is locating the RIGHT thread to post your subject. Staying true to the thread title is something that makes you cool and well respected. Being creative and going through a bit extra to get your bike in the photo is the challenge unless it's impossable and an explaination is given. It's always good to get bridge info and pass it on! That's the interesting part.
If you don't show us your bike @ the bridge most folks may think you are a "poser" and drove a cage to the site! Or even got a photo from elswhere on the web... ![]() sure this is a bit of "ribbing" on my part directed at tradex56, (to all) but it's not ill willed or degrading.Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I can't find the bike in that photo! ![]() 1974 Triumph TR5MX Avenger (plated) I had to tell the park ranger in the booth that I was doing a photo shoot and would take 15 minutes to get in without fees... ![]() 1972 BSA Gold Star Street Scrambler On a ride specificaly to get some bridge shots... 2 North fork of the American River crossings. (736' span currently being earth quake retrofitted, the center pillar resting on my bald head) (old Foresthill span at street level) ![]() Honda 1991 XR600R (plated) old and new on a ride to check on that season's snow melt for an upcoming group outing. North Fork of the American River on the Colfax/Iowa hill Road. ![]() 1977 Yamaha XS650D On a ride with a fellow 650 owner for the sake of riding. (no major goal)North Fork of the Yuba River. On the "old" highway 40. ![]() Honda 1992 XR600R The new bridge on loop 3 at Sugar Pine Station. ![]() Honda 1996 XR600R Can't even remember what loop it was up on Bald Mountain, (loop 10 ?) but there's my old 82 xr500r I sold to dirt devlin... The 82 became redundant after purchasing the 96. ![]() Keep the bridges coming folks...
