It's only a little bridge, but there's a lot of fire trail either side of it.

Somewhere in Washpool Nat. Park, Northern NSW.

Approaching my favorite bridge going south, and least favorite going north.. (leaving Ohio and coming back)

Last covered bridge on the US highway system? Yeah i think I got that right.. Beautiful bridge, in Phillipi WV. I love the supports underneath.

On the North shore of the Longest bridge in the USA. At 23.87 miles, the Causeway crosses Lake Ponchatrain from New Orleans to Mandeville, LA

I'd name that one pucker bridge.

First because of the feeling you get if you should drop into those rails.

Second when looking at that oncoming traffic sitting there just waiting to eat you.

Try it in the wet - the rails are nice and slippery...

It was one of three I know of in the South Island and at least 2 of them are gone now (and I think the third as well). We have quite a few one lane bridges around the place (esp off the beaten track) - no issue as long as people have their wits about them and obey the signage.

Not much of a bridge but it's all I have right now.

Apologies, that was my bad: It's Briceburg, not Briceland. D'oh!

It's here:

http://goo.gl/maps/xeiix

Right off 140 heading into Yosemite. Note that you can take a dirt road after this bridge quite a ways up the Merced. It deadends in a small footpath and the brave could prolly skirt the "Road Ends" sign and continue.

You can also cut up the hill in some switchbacks and go all dirt into Yosemite. Gets all twisty/junctions/confusing in there though....

Thanks! Got a waypoint, and next time I am in the neck of the woods you'll see a pic of my bike there. Granted that might take 2 or 3 years ....
