Mark,
Sorry to read about the breakdowns. Must be kind of frustrating, but it'll force you to spend some time exploring spots that you might have otherwise just passed through. Some of the richest experiences come from the places you least expect. It's always half full, but I don't think that anyone needs to tell you that.

Go Radioman! Go!

Actually have not wasted time being frustrated, as it is all part of the adventure of this kind of trip. Wanted to be riding for sure, but experiences like this make the travels interesting and full of stories that never would have happened if it all was smooth! That said, want to be out riding with no more mechanical issues if possible.

Why are you so rough on Valve parts? First your new F800 now 2 different bikes in India?

Wow! Boy it is hard to keep up with your adventures. Take a few days off and have four or five pages to read.

Wow...I am SO STOKED FOR YOU GUYS!!!

And so insanely jealous...

I guess Royal Enfield mechanical "soundness" is all part of the adventure!

No. This is probably the least reliable mechanised vehicle in India which greatly increases the probability of having this sort of MISadventure. It robs you of precious holiday time. The last line sums up what we all want, but in how many RRs have you seen one where an Enfield actually allowed that?

Small Hijack over.

Lovely pics and great ride report, guys. I'm glad to see you are having a great trip. Enjoy!

Time to chime in...

Hi Radioman

Been following your RR for a long time And I wanted to say that it has been a real treat to read your latest instalments. While reading about your breakdowns I was thinking how well you handle them. Quite inspiring. Keep up the great job of writing. Looking forward to more of your truck report; I mean bike report.

Absolutely top drawer finish on those boots Bill.
