Thanks.
Mike and Jill have indicated they might be looking to sell their Transalp when done rather than ship it back to the states, but not sure when that will be. Might be worth checking with them. Here's their thread:

My son's 1997 F650 might still be available. The fellow that bought it in Columbia recently txt me that the bike is in Lima. I wish, I mean I really wish (!) that I could go down and grab it to ride as I did a ride in June with my son Ryan (ADV RR "Bellingham To Brazil, Not Coming Back.") and Columbia was beyond my expectations, simply wonderful. Shoot me a PM and I will get Larry's email for you. That would be a great connection.
Kurt

PS: hurry, cause I may still change my mind!!! The riding was great, the women, well, they are Columbian women and the coffee was good too!

My Radioman moment started when I came across his story of his wifes illness. My dad is failing with Alzheimer's and Mark was a resource then and now. I had the oportunity to meet him face to face as he headed north after one of his school visits. We had a cheap lunch at the local TacoBell and talked about life like friends that had known each other for years. Thanks Mark

Mark, i like ships! I spent the worst Christmas ever on the USS SAVANNAH AOR-4 at anchor in barcelona spain back in '79. I hope your time on your ship is good for you. As always, your reports are great. Stay safe.

Pilot815 sent me this link involving an airplane that passed through our area awhile back. Radioman immediately came to mind.

Apparently everyone is fine so no real worries.

Not Radioman...he's Deliveryman!

Sherri Jo Wilkins tells me that Mark has delivered to her a pair of shoes from the US to Ushuia! Now that's service!

Radioman Network

Now that the M/V Plancius is almost in port, and Mark getting ready to return to the airwaves, time to lighten things up with this Antarctica classic, here on the Radioman Network.

He let a few kids get on the bike and enjoyed being able to infuse a new generation with a sense of adventure and a love of motorcycling.

Mark, when you get back from the icy continent, you'll probably share with us how many more people you've converted to riding!

That's good shit Nicky.

Merry Christmas Mark

Wishing you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Like many here, I check in daily to see where Radioman's travels have taken him - for your commitment to keeping us all up to date I am thankful.

If I knew how to get it to you I would send you a Mongolian Khatag for safe travels which I picked up in Mongolia earlier this year.

Safe travels,

OkieGman

I know you're back on dry land...lets see some pics already! :-D

And, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Blessed Kwanza and the like. Given the crew you're spending the holidays with, I'm sure that wont be an issue!
