Up early to ride in the cool of the day from Kununurra

Up to Wyndam to take a look at the views.

and you can see where the Ore is waiting for loading to a ship!

Had to pass a few road trains along the way, as they were loaded with some type of Ore (probably Nickel) headed to port to ship out.

These big road trains have 90 Wheels first photo is just 1/2

Down a side road to see this estuary

Nice looking water, but No swimming

Cool birds and lilies.

Rode down to Purnululu National Park to see the Bungle Bungles (it is one of 4 world heritage sites in WA)

It is a cool place, and we decided to see it from the air and land.

Took off in the open air Helicopter!

I really like this photo as we flew over the open Savanah

Checking out the Geology of the area, as we fly toward the Bungle Bungles

Just stunning!

Then around to see the Bungle Bungles which are Windswept Sandstone that has worn into Cone Kastes

Too many photos .... have to share them

Then back to the Caravan park

Helo

Tony our Pilot.

We had rented pre- set up Safari Tents with beds. Ha new term "glamping"

Next Morning we planned to explore the Bungle Bungles closer up.

We booked this to get there. Just made life easier

it was over 2 hours drive on washboarded road.

But it was worth it as we got to get out and walk around and into some chasms

They are amazing Sandstone cones. The black and grey that has built up on the sandstone from the water that has rained on them, helps keep them standing, but the other areas are eroding faster.

This is called the Cathedral. Pictures do not really share the beauty and magnitude of the "cave". But we were treated to Diana's lovely voice inside the Cathedral! WOW very cool!

Then into one of the longer Chasms. Dick walking ahead to give a small bit of Scale! Have a read of Diana's Blog describing the Chasm.

On the western side, it looks different!

Back in camp after the sun goes down......

Another great day in the Western Australian Kimberly's!

Yes. There are some 4 trailers. But I think they can only be 53.5 Meters long
Thanks for the extra Road Train shots. Must seem like they go on forever when passing them. With 90 some-odd tires per rig you would think the Aussie outback roads would be covered with the remnants of blown re-treaded tires like those here in the states appear to be at times. Yet, in all the photos there is not even a sign of them.

The drop bears use the blown out tyres as dental floss

While traveling sometimes places stand out, and photographs need to be taken.

Here is my Shot of the day. The great outdoors, riding and ride reports!

Fortunately Diana took some photos further back as we took some photos of the set up. I had dick scramble down the rocks to get the right angle!!

Spotted the shot I wanted.... Rode the bike out to the point

It was an amazing overlook.....

Just after leaving Derby there is a sign for the Prison Tree

Always some sad history of Slavery and they used the Tree as a Jail for Aboriginals that were taken into Slavery in the area for the pearling.

We road the 200KM to Broome to see the Indian Ocean and the beaches.

Had a swim in the Indian Ocean ..... That means I had ridden from the east to the west!

Always some beautiful sights on the beach

The popular destination is the western beach at Sunset.

Not sure what the history is yet, but Camels are in Broome!

Was fun to see them walking the beach loaded with tourists!

Them we met up with some New Zealanders that have been flying around Oz. Saw them up near Wyndam at a Bird Estuary off the main road. Was great to meet/and see Peter, Brian, Ann, and Mike!
