What a great community. Wonder what it would be like if they received a couple thousand emails in the morning...... From all over the world.....

I'm selfishly sad this chapter is coming to an end, but excited for you and your next chapter, and grateful to have ridden alongside you, here, there, and everywhere.

The next time you're in town, well, you know my number, and you know the place.

Until then, enjoy this last leg of your journey. I have no doubt, Chris is proud of you, and the progress you've made. We are too!

Dave

p.s. You don't need Jay Leno to confirm what we already know; you are a man of substance and character. Well done Mark. Good form!
Thanks Dave. So glad you are along. to Julie and the family!! Will be back in your neck of the woods in April...... Back to Capital hill again Fighting for Alzheimer's Sufferers and their families.

Journey

I have looked so forward to reading your reports Mark, and seeing the sights you have been so gracious to share with us. It looks like it is coming to an end, and a new start for you. I have a feeling that this was just a chapter in your life, and the journey will continue. Looking forward to the next chapter no matter where you go it will be enjoyable for all of us, also! Thanks for the trip, stop and catch your breath, then take us along for the rest of your journey.

Made it to page 300...

So I skipped to the last page and from what I read your long trip is coming to an end. But what a trip! Will probably spend the next day or two catching up from 300 to 400. What an adventure! Enjoying every posting...

Might there be a book in the works or a plan to do motivational public speaking? If so you might even be able to write off some expenses as requirements for the job (research). Just brainstorming.... but really enjoying the reports and feeling inspired to plan a trip of my own...

Hoping you would be shipping to the East coast and be taking a Southernly route home passing through Oklahoma. Guess I will just have to catch up with you later on since our paths just never quite crossed in Ecuador, shouldn't be a problem seeing how you are so close to some really nice riding in Southern BC and the PNW.

Have a good trip home, my two favorite days of a big trip; the first day out and the last day coming in. Good times

Dave, Thanks for taking the time to post. I do not have a plan for when I return. There will be new opportunities and I look forward to exploring them.

So glad my own journey has inspired others!

Hola John. Originally that is what I was going to do, but since it is Winter in North America...... Just did not make sense. I certainly will ride across the US sometime.... Will be in touch.... Until our paths cross.

Morning Mark,

Like everyone else living vicariously through you I'm bummed to see the trip winding down (note I didn't say "ending" ) but realize that it was inevitable. Loved the pictures and stories from all over the world.

When you make it back East, look me up.

Vaya con Dios,
Adam
