well, that just sucks. you were here in Los Angeles and didn't speak at my dealer

I don't blame ya. its getting cold up there!! you need to get home. I call it "smelling the barn". my return days mileage is always longer than my going away days.

oh, I forgot. just a friendly request that you keep your RR going for a few weeks after you return. I always like hearing about people's experience adjusting back to "civilization".

Ha, softened up looking for a cruisy lefestyle again eh Mark?

Ironic really, at the same time you were making your last post I was leaving the Barossa with inmate Der Seppel (Dominik) who is touring Oz from Germany and staying in your old bed at Bernie's. He was impressed when he knew you'd also slept in that 'bed'......Bernie's looking for ways to capitalise on that commerically - maybe a "Radioman slept here" sign for moto travellers to ponder whilst here with us.

Good luck with the next chapter.

Cheers pal

Hey Mark, I think you will head over to the coast where it is warmer, but if you do head north on 70 or 99, Lunch is on me! Of course it is a warm low 20's this morning in Oroville! There is a place called Sierra Nevada Brewing up in Chico, you might find something worth tasting there.
If not this time, there will be others in the future I am sure. Jan

another thought, meet at Red Robin in Yuba City for lunch, then you could head east (well, I really meant WEST)on 20 toward Willits and Ft. Bragg

Mark, it was great meeting you and Paul and spending a little time swapping stories. Your adventure spirit is infectious and I'm even more eager for my first ride-report worthy trip this coming summer. I wish you the best on your future travels. Paul, such a gracious host and maker of killer enchiladas. Thank you so much for remembering my post from some 2 years back and extending the invitation into your home.

Will see how my few presentations go in the PNW, have been considering doing a "radioman Rode the World" tour around the US to share my journey. Just trying to figure out my options, Interest level, and the real viability of such a thing.

Maybe Springtime in SoCal might be nice

I see what you did there! You're trying to trick him to ride around the world again! Nice try, and it would keep this great ride report going!
