Happy new year Mark!

Can't wait to see your presentation on the 18th!!!!

I also understand that this can be the loneliest time of year. I think of you often and hope you are doing well.

So impressed

Mark, I started reading your RR early in 2013. I am a new (old rider) and just got into this adv stuff. About mid summer I realized that if I kept reading I would get to the real time RR as you were posting it. I caught up about 2 months ago. Your story has inspired me to want to go beyond the top of this mountain or that mountain, here in BC, and spread my little KLR wings if you will. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your life, and the world with all of us. Greatly appreciated. Best of luck on your next chapter!

Truly I have not planned anything. Which for those that know me, is very unusual. But I wanted to finish this chapter unencumbered, and taking it all in.

Moving into my home on New years day will be start a new chapter! It is a completely blank slate...... Here's to starting life anew!

Hoping that all of my readers have enjoyed the ride, and can take a little bit of my experiences with you into the new year!~!

You are not fooling us, Mark. I'm sure you planned to not have anything planned.

Hey Mark,
Happy New Year!!!! Its still a little hard to take in that you have finally finished your journey. To the people that 'just don't get it' you will fade into the realm of that 'crazy guy down the street that rode a motorcycle around the world'. The rest of us will always remember this epic adventure and how Radioman told the story everyday!!! (internet access permitting of course!). And for the priviledged few that had the honor of meeting you along the way, well I think I can safely say, none of us will forget when we met Radioman and how we became part of the adventure.

I will throw in the with hundreds that have said thank you for sharing the adventure and thank you for helping raise awarenes to Alzheimers. Its been great to ride along.

Happy New Year................and with only one wake up till you move back 'home' I am sure it will be an emotionally charged night for you!!!

Take care our friend.........and when you need to warm up, come on down for a visit!!

Andy and Angie

There are a lot of really good ride reports on this site. And, then there are the ones that go beyond good, to epic. And, then there is this one. You gave us more than just a travelogue, you gave us the inner view of your experiences, before, during and after the riding. And, with such class, too.

Much respect to you, Mark, and best wishes for a new year, new chapter to your life, and new adventures.

Thanks.
