I was planning on riding out to the tag tomorrow on the ninjette, but it looks like the weather wont let me.

So I have to report to the armory tonight at 1800, and could easily swing by and get a picture of the tag today, but since there is a high chance of storms in the area this evening I will be in the truck.

Maybe tomorrow.

If you're having brkfst at Daisy's let me know what time and I'll join you. The earlier the better... I remember you mentioning that you enjoy brkfst there when you go on your weekend drills.

Well, due to scheduling things I'm not going in tomorrow. I just had to go in tonight. BUT, I could go out there tomorrow morning if you want to meet up. I like that place.

10-4; I was thinking of riding somewhere for breakfast so I may still go. Trying a new restaurant is as good a reason to ride as any PLUS I may grab the tag. I have an idea on how to "force" another inmate to jump into the game.

Hmmm, we might have a race for the tag. The new blinkers came in for the ninja and I figure I will install them after my compromiso and ride out to get a look at the tag.

Man, my bedtime is really early, but so is the time I get up. Anyway, I'll be there at 7am. If no one shows, I'm heading out to Raymo's Casa Blanca.

I rode by casa blanca around 10 and everybody had left by then. I moved on to Mi Pueblito also in Raymondville for some Machacado, greasy beans, and greasy hash browns. WB said he got the tag and has the new tag ready to go and will posting them shortly...

Tag has been acquired; American Legion in Weslaco. Some interesting info on Weslaco from Wikipedia below.

The population was 26,935 at the 2000 census. Weslaco derives its name from the W.E. Stewart Land Company. It was the hometown of Harlon Block, one of the Marines photographed raising the flag at Iwo Jima. Streets north of the railroad tracks have Spanish names, and streets south of the railroad tracks have English ones as a consequence of a 1921 municipal ordinance which declared that land north of the tracks be reserved for Hispanic residences and businesses, and land south of the tracks be reserved for Anglo residences and businesses.

Got me some vittles afterward.....mmmmmm

Is that taqueria Jalisco...or something like that on Texas? There is a great taco joint around there somewhere.
