+1 on the website ! It's the combination of the app and website that make it so powerful . Even use it to plan hiking routes. Sharing routes and waypoints with others is a breeze too. Nothing not to like.

I download the map to my laptop and then use the .gpx file to add the info to the Garmin I carry as a back-up.

I have an original Kindle Fire in the map pocket of my tank bag. It doesn't have GPS but I still find it very useful. The phone is on the bars and tells me where I am and where to go and I refer to the large screen on the Kindle when I change my plans and I want a bigger screen to figure stuff out.

CraftyCoder (or anyone?), very sorry to have to ask this as I feel fairly certain that I've seen it addressed previously. My GoogleFu is not very strong today.

On the speedometer/odometer screen, my speedometer and compass bearing indicators are all zeros. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It's a new Android 4.2 problem I think. I need an updated phone to get that figured out (something I plan to do soon). Sorry I don't have a better response than that at the moment.

No worries! I completely forgot you said that previously, thanks for the super quick response.

I remember and I feel crappy about it. I cannot make a new phone emerge out of whole cloth though and that is a bit annoying for me I assure you. My plan is to get a new Android 4.3 phone that will do double duty as my Motobrain (see fuse block link in my sig) development phone and my DSM dev phone. I'll sneak it past the wife that way ;^) I'm going to make it a Nexus phone so it will stay current for a while as well. I swapped a Nexus S for a new Moto Droid M and the thing has never seen an update and now I understand why I paid the $500 Nexus tax when I bought that phone. It was so I could solve your problems as they occur...
