Unfortunately no kindle as no one has figured out how to make it run android. But the nook is only around $40 used on craigs list.

BTW here is my write - up sorry if its too long:

Maybe one day dualsportmaps will work on it.

OSMAnd on Nexus 7 likes to crash on me...would DS Maps do that too?

I made it kinda thick on purpose, to 'push' the tablet against the plastic of the bag so the touchscreen would work.

And yeah, google nexus 7.
I just discovered this app this morning. I've been using OSMAnd (free version) on my Nexus 7 for a couple of weeks now and I'm having a problem with it crashing every time I try to plan a route with more than a dozen or so routing points. I'd love to try DSMaps, but if it's based on OSMAnd I'm concerned it would have the same problem. Does it? Thanks!

A few more dollars, but you could get a Nexus 7 which has built in GPS.

I think they're around $100 refurbished.

I've seen that, it's interesting but it also seems a bit imaginary.

Speaking of imaginary projects, I need some help getting a project I am working on funded. Any of you guys interested in helping out? If so, please check out my Kickstarter. It is a way cool iPhone & Android programmable fuse block. Very cool and sophisticated programming features!

I've downloaded the maps. I'll see what I can do about getting them rectified and uploaded for you.

App crashes

I have some problems with the app. It crashes frequently when i use it, and of course in the middle of nowhere.

I use the app with Sony Xperia Z.

Been thinking about this app. When you use the app and the website, is your stuff just magically in both places? I mean, if I figure a track on dualsportmaps.com, then open the app on my phone/tablet, is it just kinda there?

You need to press a button to synchronize them, but it is very simple to do.

Figured as much. Any plans to add street routing as well to create the whole package. I'd pay $40 for that!

Thanks!
