Hey all. I want to cross the ferry at Los Ebanos sometime in December.
Any advice?

Others can chime in, I haven't crossed it in years. No biggie. They'll squeeze the bike alongside the cars.

It's been about 3 years for me. As usual bikes are not expected to queue up with cars/trucks so ride to the front to load first. Then the cages load up. The drop plates you ride up are slick steel plates so take care. Ferry crew will direct you where they want you to park.

Rolling off the ferry onto the Mexico side can be a bit tricky with (sometimes) deep tire ruts in the muddy bank. Not hard to do just take a good line.

You'll pay on the ferry so have some bills ready. Can't remember how much it was. Have some 20 & 50 peso notes on hand.

Road from the ferry leads to a small square. Ride past it to the major blvd (Hidalgo) and turn left for Hwy 2. Gustavo Diaz Ordaz is not a town I'd linger in. Bit of a reputation for toughs. Most direct route (Hidalgo) to Hwy 2 is best, IMO. Others may have more current local knowledge of the area.

Have fun. Post pix.

Dude that's awesome. I am actually looking to get a wrr, I got an offer from a dealer around San antonio for 7050$ for a 2015. If I get it, I will defiantly check that out. McAllen motorsports really won't give me a good deal so I have to look elsewhere.
