Glad you enjoyed some of my reports. The reports under the bar menu item of "Oops" are trips where things did not go well and therefore are more interesting reading. I'm told the best report is the one titled "Gezzers do Baja"

What heated gear system are you using ?

It's always funnier or more interesting when things go a bit awry....Though they tend to be much funnier in retrospect.

I will definitely check out Geezers go to Baja!

Gerbings jacket, pants, gloves, socks.

My system can't support it all unless I'm at high rpm

Meter Review...

I did a little review of this meter over on the Chain Gang site for those who may be interested.

Hi BBB,

Sounds like you have the awesome stator output of an Airhead? It's unlikely that we will develop a product that you are describing. I think it is just a bandaid for inadequate stator output, however we are developing LED replacments for the stock bulbs on the airhead. Just installed the first led tail/brake light prototype in my r100r. This resulted in a savings of nearly 19 watts! or nearly 8% of the stator output.

Some folks have put in a lot of work on that, a huge improvement, some which will take a little getting used to. The FAQ's, which are the crown jewel of the site, are gonna finally begin to get cleaned up which is long overdue. Not very much traffic over there but I sense a resurgence building. A nice collection of folks from all walks of life.

I will say it is not very bright in day light...you can catch a glimpse in the shady spots.
Having said that, I don't think it will be distracting at night...

Thanks for the feedback. The voltmeter output and color were choosen to minimize night effects.
