Boulders off road riding area, outside of Phoenix, AZ

My 11 year old got a bigger ride and we took it out to Boulders yesterday for him to get used to it. Before this, he was on a CRF50 so it was quite a bit different for him. His new ride is a CRF110.

Though trepidatious at first, it wasn't long before he was tearing around at a pretty good pace.

I was surprised at how busy it was out there.

There were riders of all different kinds and sizes...

Kids with mohawks...

Smallish sized ones...

In training girl with an on board throttle limiter and steering assistance...

Girls on their own...

One kid missed the turn, hit the shrubbery and got a face full of bushes...

...which drew an audience while dad removed the bushes...

But with some directional guidance, he was on his way again. "Go that way!"

Lunch break

Not sure what these two were doing out there.

C-ya!

Won't be long, DK, and that boy of yours will be thrashing your KLR around as well!

MacCabee folding camp chairs. We've had 'em for probably 10 years. Don't remember how much they were or even where we got 'em.
