Bella Coola suggestions
I was thinking about leaving for Bella Coola this Thursday and was wondering about a route fron Chasm to Gang Ranch to Big Creek then to Lee's Corner. Is this snow free this time of year? Is there a better route? I have five days to ride. Thanks for any suggestions.

it will be snow free for sure. I have done the route a couple of times and one route I really liked was head into the Nemaiah valley and there is a great road, double track that flows along the edge of Chilko lake. It heads north from the edge of the lake along to Tsuniah lake. You come out at Chilko Lake Lodge and then ride back up to the hwy at Tatla Lake. It is a long loop and I needed gas which I bought from one of the outfitter lodges, as I think it was about 350kms or so. But it was a really nice diversion off the main highway.
I have done the Gang Ranch out to Riske Creek which is really nice too. THe backroads of BC book had the road I am referring to on it so it was easy to find and well worth it. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I may wait until I have closer to a week for the trip. I should have the Backroads of B.C. book by then. Oh, and, go Canucks!
