Bato and I were at Alamo BMW last Saturday. Did we just miss you?

Next time you come to my hometown (Austin) let me know and I will show you around.

Oh, and Happy Birthday!

Thumb

You guys are making me jealous! I love Austin.... and you found Ski Shores.
Good work.
I guess Emma Long City Park was full. That is a great place to camp while in Austin. There are a couple other camping options, just a little further out.
The hostel might be worth a look.
A great place to cool off is Barton Springs. Maybe you know already. Good views and very refreshing when it's hot. It's in Zilker Park.
Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis is interesting , but no telling what the views will be like... can sometimes be scary.
Have fun and be safe.

So we got to Lake Travis, at Sandy Creek park.
very nice road and views, Andres calls on the radio and ask me to stop at the first convenience stor, the closest to the final stop to get loaded with all the supplies (beer, snacks, beer, water, cigars, beer, more mosquito repellent, beer, sun block, beer, etc. ooh and food.)

so I'm following the gps, never been on the area before. we get to the destination and no stores around.

we ask the gate keeper about what is permited, she says no woodfire, damn!!
so we were already freaking mad so we decided to stay, she said we can choose any spot to camp, and that the nearest store is about 15 minutes from there. damn.

GREEN MOSCA says he wants a beer too!

so we finally decided for this spot to camp and get the stuff for the night.

GREEN MOSCA is anxious for his beer! and Andres, Jorge and JC have not returned yet, we are thirsty!!

then I drop on my knees and elevate a pray.... thanks !!! they are back!!!

I perhaps schedule and incidental ride on the north shore of SPI, "just to improve" my skills on sand riding.
