to get a siesta.

Hey Arte How are you?
I have a question
May I set camping in the rest areas of the 35 hwy?
When I went to Dallas some times I was so tired and I want to get a siesta in those rest areas but I had afraid I thought that the police pick me up to the jail.

You are probably ok to do so, but unless the law has changed you may not set a tent up. If it is completely prohibited there will be a sign.

Hey Wolverine, I guess Mike is right, there was no sign that indicated that was prohibid to tent camping.

next time try it, if not allowed, then simply get into your sleeping bag.

Saludos!

you should try it with us next time. Is less boring to ride those roads where are nothing worth to see. is way Cooler on this time of the year, safer (no traffic), just keep an eye on the damn deers, I spoted few of them, but else, very nice. Just sleep good the day before or even better a nap before leave.
