Sounds like: 1) no steak feast on Friday; 2) we're still riding on Saturday, meet @ 12:00.

Grimmboy just scooted by on the Transalp, we're planning to be there tomorrow at 12. My deal in Richmond was cancelled so I can make it. Still deciding whether to ride his DRZ or my weeStrom.

Well, I'm in town (Charlottesville) and heading up to see my son, daughter-in-law, and the grandchildren. Will see you all tomorrow at Bodo's. Unfortunately, the bike is still snowed in (8 inches of snow yesterday in NJ). I was fortunate enough to just get me and the family out.

So, it's just gonna be me, unless someone wants to lend me a bike for the day.

I'm there at noon on the KTM. Doc you are welcome to ride my BMW K1200RS but it doesn't handle too well in the dirt and snow.

I was hoping to do a combo-dirt road-snow road-paved road ride. Bleak House/Flat Top Mtn./Mutton Hollow/Batesville... Mapped out a 125 miler or so with bailout options and longer routes too. Since Ted knows the area pretty well maybe he can make some suggestions.

See y'all tomorrow.

Bob

Good man (despite what Grimmboy says)

Let's meet at noon and leave at 12

I'm there! Did most of that about a week ago. Flattop Mountain is pretty cool, especially before the leaves come out.

Maybe a little Bleak House Rd. to Free Union to Fox Mountain Rd. to 810 to Mission Home loop for a little dirt road warmup before tackling Flattop?

Sounds like a plan to me! Hopefully Doc will have a bike and will join us on the ride so we can meet at 12 and leave Bodos at noon.

I plan to be fueled up with a triple espresso and the bike will be full of high octane gasoline and I should be ready to ride. (The KTM will still be dirty though )

I'll ride wherever. A warm up before Flat Top is fine. Since I won't have those sissie heated grips and heated jackets and stuff a warm up might be a good idea!
