Elite 125 head swap?

Hey guys and gals, I have a '84 elite 125 and I was going to get my cylinder head rebuilt, (leaking intake valve) but now I've seen some chinese 150cc cylinder and heads that work on the Elite 150. So my question is does the cylinder and head swap from the 150 motor to the 125? I've searched and could only find info on complete motor swaps. But everything looks like it would be interchangeable.

I couldn't say for sure. But in the past I had two broken down elites to get mine up to 100%.

I have a 85 150cc.

The parts scooters I had were another 85 150cc and an 84 125cc like yours.

I was barely able to get any interchangeable parts from the 125cc. A great deal of the bike was changed between the two.

Although I can't mention anything on the cylinder head as mine is still original.

Have you considered lapping the valves yourself?

Those videos are perfect! I was just going to drop off the piece to the shop and get everything new. Then I came across the Chinese 150cc parts.
