Eddie,
Nearly two months I've been based in T or C. Riding out of this little sleepy village I have found myself in many of your same photoed settings. You do indeed do the state of New Mexico justice. Please keep up the good RR. In a couple of days I'm taking my r12gs on FR150 & then east on 152. I've found reversing my travels makes taking the same roads more interesting & I see what I missed coming from the other direction. Keep writing & riding. Thanks much for sharing. |

the beaver and deer know of it
Thanks Wolfgang, dirt FR 150 and then pavement 152 thru the Black Range is a great loop to do out of T or C. Have a good time!

Good report and I really appreciate the detail on the roads taken. I'm going to try to put these into a .gpx file and follow along next fall.
Thanks again. |

Hey HighRiver! Thanks...I hope the Valley of the Sun isn't too hot yet and that you are getting out in the mountains and doing the track day events.

As usual I'm late to the game, but that is a Great RR!
Many familiar places, some places I've gone right by without seeing (so much my loss). I must get back there and fill in the blanks. Thanks for letting me go along for the ride! |

Big Snake?
Damn big snake? Nah, he was only about 7 feet long, ...about average for an adult gopher snake.
![]() He was working on his tan in the middle of the road when I came along. Luckily I was slowing for a nearby turn, so we both survivied the encounter.
