moto riding season in NM
Yes, I ride all year round as long as the road or dirt is snow and ice free. I live in the mountains around Santa Fe at 7,000' so we have and enjoy all four seasons. It gets cold in Winter, but the sun is usually out most days so it feels warm enough. I rode about 300 miles on a loop today in the mountain sun, but tonight it is supposed to snow a little. We have peaks nearby from 10,000 '- 12,600 ' and they are already snow covered. Most of the ski resorts in the Rockies are opening this weekend, so when you can't moto, you can usually find some snow to ski on. Cheers! ... and to the rest of you in the US, Happy Thanksgiving Day! I hope you enjoy the ride report.

Really nice job on the report...I appreciate your taking the time to bring us along. Particularly enjoyed the history lessons. I'm planning on doing a similar ride...just easing around the back roads of Kentucky for a few days and checking out the forgotten places.

Thanks Santafe Lady and Wayward Son, glad you enjoyed it.
Wayward Son,I hope you do a ride report in Kentucky with it's rich history and don't worry, if you love riding motos in a place or State or country, it will come thru in anything you write about it or in your pictures. I hope you'll share Kentucky with us. Cheers!
