Nothing hunh?

I was at the NH Classic this weekend, and i was surprised that next to all the orange, team blue seemed to be the second in bikes of choice.
And yes most were 250f's,,with a slight mix of 450f's.
Is it just an eastern thing?
The 250f's a great trail bike, but theres gotta be somebody out west running them?

Well,,,guys/gals.

I drank the kool aid.

If i was gonna stay with the rice, then Yamaha is the team. They just seem to be behind the riders more then the others.
And after a 02 WR250F,and a 05 WR450F,,,,,,i wanted a 2 stroke,,and then it went down hill.
I'm looking at a 04 WR450F supermoto,,,,,hmmm,,maybe.But i went to the orange side,and i'm love'n it.
Not try'n to shit up the thread i started.I'm still surprised there isn't more interest in the WR250f.

I'll always have a soft spot for the 250f.

I covinced a friend to buy a clean used '07 250F. Sweet bike! I am surprised how much midrange power it has for a 250. The motor feels stouter to me than the Honda and KTM 250s I rode. Being a WR, it will likely last forever too.

My buddy is stepping off a CRF230, so he thinks he died and went to heaven!

I have been considering picking up a 2001 wr250f. Already plated. Only thing bugging me right now is the lack of an E start. I had a hell of a time kicking the thing back to life when warm.

Damn sweet bike.

I'm looking to get one used and after doing my research I think that 2006 was the first year of e-start? I'm probably wrong though.

I see plenty of used ones out there and the price isn't that bad either. I had a '02 DRZ400e before I sold it and now I think the WR250f will be about the same experience. I know the DRZ is heavier and puts out about 40 horse but I think it will be a wash in the end. I just want something that can handle a beating.

I was a little concerned when we first purchased a very lightly used 2007 last summer. After uncorking, I have no regrets at all. I love the extra power of the WR450, but in the tight stuff, the 250 is amazing. It's my 14 year old sons bike now ....

I plan on taking it from him soon!
