FMAR 2011 RIDE REPORT

I can only report on the first day of riding, and it was great. 300 miles of fast gravel with occasional interesting bits and fantastic scenery throughout. California Condors!

Alas, some of us are morons and the trip ended earlier than I'd have liked. Massive thanks to Jesse, Lonny and all the guys for helping mitigate what could have been a complete disaster.

Damn that looks like it hurts! I would have been in tears needing a chopper and you just jumped on the bike and rode to the hospital. What a stud! And Lonny......I can't make any promises!

Not too bad - getting used to the sling. I realized I'd left the x-rays with you just as I was hitting I-15. Didn't seem worth turning around. If you can drop those in the mail at your convenience, that would be good. I'll pm you my address.

The Campground was really nice, definitely a plus.

I do have alot of tracks and maps too..posted my "adventure" on spot too......(can't help it, I'm a land surveyor and a map geek, gotta study and see a place before going)....
