I seem to be developing an unhealthy attraction to orange.

The oddball is a 2-wheel drive bike that Speedy Pete Laubmeier has been helping test (DRZed will find the 28x number familiar).

Also, just a heads-up: I think you accidentally added an "un" before the word "healthy" on that last caption.

The smallest KTM at the show(50cc) was MSRP $4999.

I like the 990 but find myself drawn to the smaller 690R. I still can't figure out how they made that bike so light - 305lb dry.

It's only unhealthy when you tell your wife you need another bike.

I made it down Friday for a couple of hours (I had the whole day but the damn show didn't open until 3).

The KTMs and BMWs were pretty nice. But I am pretty sure that everybody is waiting for a photo of the KLR.

Here you all go.

I'd go for the 990. You could totally rock that thing, and as awesome as the 690 would be, your TTR isn't too much different other than the lack of power. The 990 might be a better option.

I know what you mean about that orange. When I swung a leg over Benron's SE last summer I wanted to tell my Dakar to 'eff off.

Here's the CB1100.

That bike looks great siyeh, I have no doubt you will love it.
Thanks for those pics! I think I will enjoy this bike for a couple years. It seems after two years I am ready for something else. All that CB1100 needs is my Cabela's duffle bag, and maybe a screen and a top case and I will be good to go.

the tail of this new bike sure reminds me of good times in the late 70's on a CB 750 super sport

That looks really nice. Retro without being overly so.
