Started out young on dads bikes:

First bike was at 16 yrs young. A Honda 250 dualstar? or some such.

rents paid for that. No qualms regarding a bike from them- they knew I was Bad Ass.
And my Grandma rode:

My grandpa raced:

Then after two weeks I learned all there was to know and bought a turbo Hayabusa. Kidding.

I bought a Kawi EX500 that I just sold last summer- That was the first bike that I paid for myself. It was a 1990 and I bought it in 93. I was that kid that rode it to high school everyday.

Loved, not abused.
Some just like it a bit rougher than others

My Dirty Story

I bought Liza the KDX 175 in 2007.

I soon realized I wanted a street legal bike and electric start. Sold her after about five rides.

Bought the original Zora the DR200 in 2008.

Yes, where I got my adv name. Didn't know what to use for this silly site I would probably never use again after registering.

Bella the DR650 came along in 09 cuz the two hundo just didn't have the oomph I needed for long highway trips.

Aaaaand Billie the WR250rawr was scooped up in 2011 cuz the 650 is a pig in the woods.

Man, do these bike sure look pretty in the pics. Nowhere near how the abused dirtbags appear now.

And that would last about 30 miles prior to it's next breakdown.

Not FOS but I was a rodie for The Cure and DAvid Bowie

I do not like that generation of Vette. Those were the beginning of their demise in design. The last two Gens are nice again. But Im sure that some people liked these just as they thought the Skylark was bad ass in the 80s. The 60s were a great generation for cars (gas was cheap, bigger was better)
The one in the picture was a POS that my mother brought home w/out my fathers knowledge. She was sick of not having one to drive because he was always making his 1969 Vette (that he bought in 70) bigger, louder, faster, purrritier. Dad never would have approved of a 1978 automatic t-top. The thing had rubber bumpers!!! Pops fixed it up and sent it down the road. Then he replaced it with a Z06. I have driven it once and some dipshit pulled out in front of me (got to test the brakes) I have never ever been allowed to drive the 69 though. He fills it up with Ave gas at the airport in Manty and it gets 3-6 MPG.
