Lancaster/York Tag-o-Rama

The boundaries for the game are I-81 on the west, I-76 to the north, the Mason-Dixon line to the south, and the Lancaster and Chester county line to the east.

Link for Tag-o-Rama map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=...mid=1333407760

Same rules as the PA Tag-o-Rama...however, tags can be placed anywhere it is legal to ride; ie. not limited to pavement

Rules are:
#1 - Find the tag and get a picture of your bike in the same location (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties. Remember, the point of the game is not to make the clues difficult to figure out. It is about riding, not Googling.

#2a - New tag must be placed within 36 hours. If new tag is not set within the time limit, the first Bruce posted gets the tag. If no Bruce was claimed, tag will revert to the previous tag, and somebody else will get their chance. If you won't have the time to drop it off, don't pick it up to begin with.

#2a.1 - This rule is intended to keep the game moving. If the overdue tag is posted before somebody grabs the reverted tag, then the new tag will stand. However, giving the overdue tagholder a load of crap is still highly encouraged.

#2b - If a bootsrapped tag is posted. Any other riders can go get the wrong bootstrapped tag. If they get both the bootstrapped tag and a new tag posted before anyone grabs the original tag, then the new location will be the official tag.

#3 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.

#4 - The motorcycle in the picture must get to the tag location under its own power (The vfr870 rule).

#5 - Repeat tags are not prohibited, but they are discouraged.

#6 - No whining. If you have a valid sugestion to improve the game, we can listen to that. If you just wanna bitch and moan because you got Bruce'd, do it elsewhere.

First tag: South of Wrightsville, just off of 624.

Excellent work! At least the tag won't end up in Pittsburgh for 6 months or cruising around the coal region.

Isn't there a "Bootstrapped" rule too?

Nice work. It'll be nice to not have to go a couple hours all the time to get a tag.

Haha. I just added a "bootstrapped" ammendment to the rules, see #2b. Does that make sense, and should that rule be kept in place?

Shouldn't there be some sort of "kudos" applied to the rider that posts both the bootstrapped tag and the original? but hey what's it matter, just one more good reason to ride farther...

So went and got the tag today and on my way to find a new tag some guy pulled out in front of me and this happened. I'm fine but hopefully I won't be to stiff to find another tag tomorrow on my dad's dr350.

Damn Diesel! Glad you're OK but that sux about your DR. I would have beat them with one of the broken forks.

Wow! I've seen plenty of crashes, but never saw one where the fork internals broke out the bottom!

Glad you're OK.

If the tag isn't moved by the time I'm done working tomorrow I'm gonna go get it. It's too close to resist.
