Great idea HTC, and very generous of you!

If somebody has one in Europe (shipping and import from the States would make this a bit impractical for temporary use) they would be willing to lend me I am all ...

I was thinking the bike owner would drive to the GS911 owners house... not interested in loaning out.... I don't think more the 10 would be willing to drive to Louisiana.

The professional version is $200 extra.... the "enthusiast" (10 VIN limit) version can be upgraded to the professional version.... but for us cheapskates that went with the enthusiast version burning up the VINs could be a concern.

I think I just noticed a change of practice on the GS-911 website.
IIRC, they used to say that software updates were free for life....
(although they did also say they reserved the right to change that policy)
The BeemerShop page now says "one year of free upgrades" ....

I have one and can offer help if needed. I'm already close to the limit of 10 but I intend to upgrade to pro edition. So then that won't be a concern. I'm listed on other forums also and never had anybody, other than those I otherwise rode with want to use the GS911.
