Hey Fred. Looks like my buddy and I did the same roads and trails as you a few weeks ago.
We decided to bypass this,

Our report from the weekend is here, http://dualsport.smugmug.com/2011Rid...898166_CmxGWSN

Nice panniers BTW.

Tell me my eyes didn't see a KLR getting pushed around the rock at the stone beach by Port George......my wife might have to give riding demos. Did you go all the way around to Victoria Beach from Delap's Cove? The ATV trail looked pretty sketchy to me, maybe if I had a riding partner I would have tried it, but the straight through approach worked fine.

It does face south as this is the direction you are facing. It is just a reference for people standing there to show them what they are looking at. I ride through Clarence every day on my way to work, much better than the 101 hwy.
I still live on the Clarence Rd, but on the west end in Beaconsfield. Cheers

Beautiful area

I always thought I wanted to get up that way, now I'm sure. Great shots of some nice quiet towns, at least until my family gets there, that's why I'd leave them home. You guys have some MAJOR tide swings up there, wow, down here in NJ it's NOWHERE near that big of a difference. Again, BEAUTIFUL PIX, thanks for taking us along! Stay safe.

Overnighter

Stay tuned for an overnight excursion past New France, south through the Barrens down to Pubnico, railbed to Argyle, then back to Yarmouth and up the shore to B'town. Anyone who wants to tag along, we're leaving as soon as the SWMBO is done work on 'Sat. Cheers

That's some mighty fine neighborhood riding territory you got there. Thanks for sharing.

I'm riding up to Nova Scotia the third week in August for two weeks. I will be following this closely as these are the kind of off pavement roads I like to ride. I'll have to mark these places on my GPS as my map and directional skills are seriously lacking. My only real "plan" is to circumnavigate NS counter clock wise, and time permitting visit Prince Edward Isle.

If you don't mind I'd like both GPS tracks and lunch/dinner is on me when I get there. I'll PM you as to the exact date/time I plan to be in your valley.

Done and Done....bring me one of those arches, the half Macdonalds arch thing you have....just kidding, I was in St Louis many years ago, went up the arch, ate and drank in the paddlewheeler that was drydocked there, you know, all the touristy things...They told me I talked funny though, I thought the same of them. Cheers
