Did anyone hear Brian say "OH now I'm leaving" when they walked up?

My pleasure sir.

In his defense... there was some oil or something on the road at that stoplight, he was first to stop .. I almost fell and I was on two feet!

My pleasure Scotty. I'm going to see Mark in KY at the end of the month (we'll miss Cathearders C/O ) and I hope to get a new supply.

Good to see everyone again.

I'm a freaking drama queen. Street Purdy aint so purdy anymore. I got some serious street cred rash on the pannier. On the way home in the middle of the pack. Couple of bikes made it through and light went yellow. I was coasting to a stop and tapped the brakes on the rain soaked road and my rear tire shot out to the right. I almost recovered until I inadvertantly or maybe in panic applied more brake and swerved back around for a low side at the intersection. Suprised as hell that I didn't have a mark on me. I really stuck the landing! Shredded a glove but no road rash on me. Bike took all the hit. In my defence there was something on the road that made it slick as shit when wet. Jack commented on it as he helped pick up my bike and Jason noticed it when he stopped on the shoulder as well. I'm glad we didn't immortalize this escapade on film! I should have been on the hack
Back safe and sound.

Good to see all of your ugly mugs again. Blasting Elf, Talen and I had a wonderful ride home...for the first five miles. The other 105 miles were in rain of varying intensity. Oh well, if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride.

Believe it or not, today was my first time having blue crab straight outta the shell. It well NOT be the last. Gonna have to get Scotty to show me the finer points of getting all the good parts out.

Til next time...

You should have said something Sky! I was raised in Southern Maryland and I've been cleaning crabs the "right way" since I was 4. All you really have to look for are the Devils Fingers. They are the parts that look like sea ferns that become visible right after you pull the plate off. Everything else is edible but the shell - and I reckon you could chew the shell for the seasoning if you really wanted to!

Thanks Jax for putting this together...a little rain never hurt anyone (except VACommuter ).
