Only thing is you can't put your handy dandy TOURATECH headlight protector on. As soon as you take it off you'll get a nice little pebble right in the expensive one.

Cuz I'm to busy riding to the hardware store, via the gravel parking lots, dirt building sites and old concrete dropoffs to buy parts for the gas dryer I'm supposed to be installing so my wife doesn't kick my arse.

Sides if they make a flood I might go for that but first things first. Great something else to add to the freaking list.
Sorry Dag, I forget you have an E. I don't know what kind of pattern the flood produces, but I can tell you these suckers are bright... real bright for their size.
I never wanted to commit to lots of money for an HID kit because I don't ride that often at night. But these are so cheap and self-contained and easy to install (unless you're cutting a hole in a fairing like one idiot I know ) that it's kinda hard to pass up on.
I haven't gone for a ride yet... I will tonight and try to give you one last impression to base a decision on.

Hey Doc, hate to burst your bubble on this one but that HID is putting out a lot of glare. Tell me something, do you know if those are projectors or reflectors?
I know you can give a rats arse on this one because your probably only going to be using it off road but,,,,, when you do,,, and you will use it on the street, you will get some very pissed off passerbyers.
