Picked up my Go!!! 2004
Picked up my stallion Thursday afternoon and rode 230 miles to go back home.
Weather was extremely windy, and I was indeed buffeted and deafened.
BIke is a 2004 G0!!! with 7000 miles on it, aluminum rad grill, akras, complete canisterectomy, Ernie-Twin-PIAA Headlights (55 W), Euro headlight/switch, GPS mount with a garmin 276C, twin powerlets that I had installed thanks to Mario Arter at Letko Cycles in Kansas City.
Bike is a blast to ride, road handling is impressive along with braking (even for someone coming from the rock solid Africa Twin 750) and the reserves of power are awesome.
A tailgater coming too close? shore up the throttle and see him disappear in you rear view mirror.
I dealt with brutal sidewinds by huddling behind the windshield, it worked pretty good as I was able to pass big tractor trailers without any lateral movement.
Stay tuned, I'll post pics.
The blue ones are the best.
He, whose nuts skim the ground while airborne, won't crash very far!

We get wind here . And i've been blown all over the place , trouble was I started getting tense . So as the wind hit my shoulders i started steering the bike even more . When I forced myself to relax and steer more by using my feet , the bike tips but still tracks straight(er)
