Micro sd update only or whole shebang?

I keep getting ready to pull the trigger on a city navigator micro sd for my 60cx but I get nervous that it is just an update and not the whole package.

Is this even an option or are they all the whole shebang on the card.

I could care less if it is 2011 or 2013, I just need a basic map showing the major roads.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Eric

Do yourself a favor and buy the DVD. It will install to your computer, where you can easily work with the map data.

You can download the whole thing to a micro SD for your GPS.

You won't have any issues moving data back/forth, and your any future updates can be done online and will install to your desktop as well.

It's the whole map, not an update. And the avantage of the sd version is that you can use it in any gps with a card slot, but that's the only advantage. For most people, the dvd makes more sense.
