Having participated in several group buys on other hobby related forums, the method this one seems to be going along is slightly helter skelter. Instead of asking the folks first into the mix to have their funds tied up for weeks at a time is to gather a master list of participants in the initial post that is clear to all viewing the initial outline. Have a specific number of required participants or the number of items required to move forward with the purchase that way everyone knows exactly what is going on and where the group stands at any given moment. The moment the number is hit send a PM for payment to all participants for and update the initial post showing who is paid and who is not. This would make a tad more work for you but would garner a bit more comfort to those wanting to participate and those already in.

K.B.
Now I have the money but I'm concerned about ever getting the product. I will call them today and see whats going on.

armor group buy

Hello everyone,

As posted on the first page, we're looking at 4-8 weeks once the group buy closes. We're looking for 50+ units minimum before we close the buy. We're not quite there yet. As of right now we're at 20..

We're having an order of 50 shipped to us within the next 2 weeks, so anyone withint the first 50 should see their armor within 3 weeks.... ...
give or take due to customs, etc.....

Neck brace compatible? Yes, however some individuals have had issues depending on brace type or personal preference, if it doesn't work we'll take it back...
I actually need to get a neck brace but as of last week, I'll need some knee braces after I get my knee ported and polished, hopefully during this winter...
I've lost the remainder of this summer, my knee is no longer willing or able ;(

"I'm in also. 6'3" 220lbs.

Ordered an 2XL. Is this the correct size? "

What is your chest measurement in inches?

Chest - XS">29-35 Inch Chest - XS/S

Chest - Medium">36-42 Inch Chest - Med/Large

Chest - XL">43-48 Inch Chest - XL/2XL

Chest - 3XL">49-55 Inch Chest - 3XL/4XL

Chest - 5XL">56-62 Inch Chest - 5XL/6XL

Anyone reading this thread should know that our lack of communication is due to Velocity_Girl's recent hand surgery. I would have updated sooner but there's just too much going on.

NOBODY, should be concerned about their purchase. If we don't ship it, there is always recourse through PayPal... Honestly though, it's not an issue.

If we get an influx of orders that go beyond 50 total units (we're at 20 as of today) then the lead time will change to the original 4-8 weeks. The first 50 suits are being shipped Air-Cargo and the next 50 are being shipped ground. We're trying to lower our shipping costs and have finally given DHL the middle finger for their outrageous fee's and nonsense!

We take credit cards through PayPal or Google Checkout, or check or money order if necessary....

"The two small Velcro tabs that are supposed to hold it together don't get it done."

WILDWOODMOCruiser- long or wider velcro tabs? the grey tops have been an issue and only fit "medium" sizes. Apparently, getting the "exact" same material in grey isn't as easy as manufacturing had implied. If we can't get grey, what do we need to do to "make it right"?

We'd like to thank everyone once again, we're glad to offer a killer price on a suit that most see as an improvement over other armor systems that cost 2x to 4x as much but is otherwise unheard of in terms of customer recognition. Your continued support makes the difference between us sticking with it or simply calling it a day (plus ten years)..... ;)

Sincerely,
JF
John Franklin

Hi,
I'm in. I'm 5'10" and weight 180. Wear a 42 suit size. Usually a Large Jacket in ski jackets and motorcycle jackets. I'm a 44/54 in EURO sizing (Some companies I wear a 46...)

So looks like I'm a 6 plate in the Medium/Large size right?

------------CORRECT; as long as you don't have popeye arm's or a large muscular build. Being right on the border of sizes, if you were "built" and looking to push yourself while riding, arm-pump may be an issue.

I'm not "built" and have a 41/42" chest but I find that any additional restriction in my arms while riding leads to additional arm pump. I can fit in a M/L but prefer the Xl/2XL for the arm-pump reason. However, I'd say the majority of our customers don't have this issue.

Actually, no. Since PayPal is the payment acceptance provider (if we used their "virtual terminal") you're simply giving one more person your credit card number. I'd rather not have such info. in our records, one less entity to have your info. keeps your financial information "safe" or safer....

If you dislike PayPal we also use Google Checkout if necessary..

Hope that helps..

sizing

Hello,

5x/6x 6 plate...

Our first 50 should ship this coming Friday, so we're probably looking at 2 weeks out come this Friday..

I think we're up to 25 so if you need it within 2 weeks or so, now's the time for anyone who's on the fence...

Can I pay by paypal or do you invoice me?

Here's the link to the page to purchase.

Says free shipping and I think you have to use paypal. I'm sure you'll get an answer to any sizing question from the vendor.

I'm interested in 2 suites!!! BOTH GREY IF STILL POSSIBLE.....I don't care if they are a few shades off. The sizes I need are 1 MED/LARGE and 1 LARGE/2XL. Let me know about the gray and if it's super light or dark grey?

I hope you make your 50 count!
