NOVA and Southeast ADV Trading Post

Buy, sell, swap, barter, giveaway.

It seems we have a pretty good local scene developed here. Maybe it's time for our own flea market so we can trade stuff around or sell without worrying too much about transfers and shipping. I see that rocky mountains have a market, so why not us? I'm sure a lot of inmates have just as much stuff as I do that needs a new home.

Allow me to kick it off with a small bike:

Near middleburg, va. 2001 KX100 nice solid bike $950

Good idea. I really hate shipping stuff and am generally more than happy to discount my wares to sell locally to a fellow ADV'er.

1998. Has a valid VA title. Starts right up and runs good. It's not perfect, but would make a great bike to link the local trails together.
Located near Warrenton, Va.
Now has a black seat cover.
$1400

Two items; both used, repaired, serviceable:

1. "Horse" saddle bags; insulated, the kind sold at Tractor Supply Company, for . . . horses.

2. Genuine, authentic Kawasaki accessory textile saddle bags (used on pre-'08 KLR650; may fit later models).

Reason for availability:

Have Cycleracks racks on both KLR250 and KLR650; pannier set exchanges instantly between the bikes, no further need of saddle bags.

PM for transfer details.

I have a well used Cycleshell with a broken support pole and a small (quarter-sized if I recall correctly) tear that can probably be fixed. Since I got my shed, it's been sitting unused.

If anyone wants it for the low price of free-fifty, just let me know and I'll tell you where you can pick it up.

I'll take pictures if there's any interest.

'05 V-strom on the market. Again.

2005 V Strom 650 43K miles. Been a commuter most of it's 43K miles. Present owner finds it interferes with his golf cart usage and storage and asked me to to find it a new home. I told him to get rid of his Gold Wing. I find you can't tell Gold Wing riders much.

Laminar lip, hand guards, throttle lock, recent Michelin Anakee tires. Never down, no dramatic history, Regular maintenance, old cowardly rider. Bike knows every back road and coffee shop in NOVA, Eastern Panhandle of W by God V, and every pie joint in the WV Highlands.

$3300.00 gets you a fairly stock, good running and reliable 05 V Strom 650.

2. To ignore an event until the last minute so as to avoid any expectations of attendance, but then show up anyway.
