My reaction is more based on the fact that if it's taken 3 yrs to get back on track, perhaps this dude should let Durelle do his thing and not get too involved. This whole thread has been bizzarre. Mitas, maybe you can just post when you have the news that the container has arrived in Colorado.

no clue if these can come over too to the US.

I thought RawHyde had the US rights to Sava locked up?

no idea. that is just the company that Daniel alluded to Mitas buying.

i see the Savatech's for sale
http://www.expeditionportal.com/late...ava-tires.html
http://www.rawhyde-offroad.com/sava/
they are far from carring anywhere near the full line so i doubt this would be called locking up the rights. Sounds more like Rawhyde needed cheaper TKC-80 type tires for all their GS bikes plus the seem to get better mileage than the TKC...harder rubber?

I'll email Davey and see. Could be a great front match to a rear E07.

I agree! Got one more set of Big Blocks to burn up and I would like to try the Sava's or the Mitas.

Both the links you put up say either "exclusively by" or "sole distributor".......maybe just add copy or maybe how this type of product is handled. I don't have any import experience so I maybe way off base.

More than one supplier has got to be a good thing!

Hope Davey is able to get up and running soon.

I wish him much success.

Mitas Tires are coming . Durelle Racing will be selling tires as soon as the container arrives and tires are delivered to Colorado for retail sales.
I am going through the final order process this weekend for the first container of tires. There will be other Mitas products coming with the adventure tires. I have been to Europe twice finalizing this import process as well as some future tire development . The US market would of had tires earlier but the Sava Tyre deal slowed this process down .
If all goes well , the majority of the Mitas Tire line will be here for sale to dealers nationwide . For now tire flow will be slow and steady and building with our growth .
I started this by going to Mitas for racing tires and things grew to the point of getting into a new product line of adventure tires. My business already is involved with the racing end of the tire business and importing is not a new process . We will do our best to keep people informed on this site and through social media . My business is focusing on importing tires and getting them to a dealer that can supply our growing Mitas Tire market .
I do not have the time to focus on these threads but there are some very informed people that can .
I am a motorcycle rider who has ridden and raced all of my life . We really know what we sell and really do use our products .
My 800 GS has E-07"s front and rear and have ridden on a lot of different terrains . I tested these tires way before I decided to import them and that was a deciding factor on getting into this market .

"exclusively by" is just marketing talk and means nothing.
"sole distributor" has some more bite however, but they are just words.
Who knows, maybe Rawhyde has stepped up and they have a warehousing and shipping to supply a line of Savatech tires in the US.

If they are what they talk up they are, then they need to say it publicly they are the exclusive Sava USA distributor & can supply the line or at least some of it.

This is you Davey?
ADV vendor threads will be your greatest sales asset my friend.
I've found over the years ALL roads lead back to ADV.
ADV is ground zero for your buyers!
I'm very excited this IS happening.
All you talkers, get your CC warmed up.

...
I'm hoping 120/80-18 TT E-07 (for my G/S) are in that container, because there were none in any container to North America for the last 7 months at least.

No , this is not Davey . I am the importer . Davey will be a stocking distributor. We have been working together in the racing tire business for some time now . I did not want to get into the daily retail sales of the adventure tires . I have been promoting Durelle Racing to get the ball rolling .
I will put a new thread up when the tires arrive.

Do you have a time frame for those of us in need? The USD is fairly strong vs the CND, so MX1 pricing may not be too bad.
