i'm near grandfather mt i see something peaking around a tree in a cruve up ahead, hit the brakes and slow down 4 deer milling around. I passed em parked the bike walked back to see how close i could get and



was talking to the deer and said "hang on i'll get my bike" actually rode up close kickstand down and stepped back to get picture. Deer was slowly leaving silly f***er that was trying to talk to her

it's getting dark and cold i'm thinking i gotta be getting close turn a corner and see a hell of a bon fire

Hey Bud!

Enjoyed meeting you at the ADV Rally earlier this year. I was 3 sheets to the wind when I was talking to you, but I remember you said something about Sardis (sp?) and a funky mailbox. Found Sardis (been on it a hundred times - just didn't remember the name - about 10 minutes from where I live) but didn't find any weird mailboxes.

Anyway, let me know next time you are back in town. Let's go riden!

if you've never been, the rdv is a hell of a rally. i used to go to alot of rallies and this is one of my fav's

all because of this guy



the party boss, don't know how he does it, ya get a tshirt, a mug, a sticker, bands beer, coffee doughnuts and 2 meals etc.... where else can ya get that much bang for your buck and get to hang around UFF's

any way didn't get any more pic's that night to busy seeing friends old and new.

are staggering around from fire to fire and i say "what time is it"

"4 and i think we're the only ones still up"

so we called it a night

i lost my ma maw in novmeber last yr. And the family was having the estate sale that saturday. woodrow823 and pdboy rode over with me. A good mix of gravel and asphalt cruves. Got to see alot of family had my carmera in my pocket and didn't get a picture of any of them, what a putz am i.

anyway we leave out and do some more ride'n



after riding most of the afternoon and not being sure where we were chris set his gps and we hauled it back to laurel springs and the festivites

chris and kurt will tell ya how tough it is being a teacher kurt rode to nova scotia this summer and just got back from ca, chris came by on his way out west and just got home from tex, ca mont and a bunch of points inbetween, i'm having a hard time feeling sorry for them

the next morning i was gonna take my time and ride back on the parkway with hunter and cuttle, they were still packing and i was thinking about how far away gainesville was and what i had to do before catching a plane in the morning. These guys were pulling out so i caught up with them

we split up after a break near marion. i took 70 towards asheville knowing i needed to get on the 4lane and head home

one sunday afternoon i start taking tranny out of r90s, (aka hanz and fritz) in between beers and sweat i check my phone, i gotta text from dirtdabber

"i am headed toward memphis. About 80 miles out at 45mph. If you are around give me a text back. If not I will keep on motori"

aw an easy out but no i'm not that smart i sent it back "yea man come on"

He'd had bought a klr sidecar rig in tx and was riding back to ga veva backrds and dirtrds
