It's all right here. We all read what's posted, then 205 post it again in another thread. That's how it works!

Actually, MANY people here have one or two friends at the race with info, or other inside scoop, which gets posted. Add up ALL those individual bits of information and it makes it look like we all know everything. A few of us have been there and know some stuff by heart, but most just learn as they go along.

Keep the broadcasts coming. That was the best Dakar coverage in a very long time. Passing by the "cow incident" must have been surreal.

Stick to your strategy - it's working! Cheering from Denmark, go go!

Just got done listening to Ned's interview and watching the stage 1&2 highlights, so I feel I'm caught up. Great interview. I really like the format, from the trenches daily. Good stuff. Go get 'em Ned.

What I learned from rally school and from an actual rally was to keep making forward progress and to go fast whenever it was possible. Stopping can be a real killer...you sweat more and your body doesn't like to get moving again. Also every time you have to pick up your bike it is a major blow to your energy reserves.

Well bikes started at 0600 which was 30 minutes ago...

I wonder what Ned is listening to on today's ride?
Yesterday it was The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo

Off to lunch, hope y'all keep me posted on what I miss in the next 30 min...

I guess I'm the only one posting to Ned's Thread ('cuz it's too quiet at work and I'm trying to stay awake!)

Anyway I just wanted to remind those who support Ned to go to http://neduro.com (no www) scroll to the bottom and then click on his sponsors links - I think he gets "credit" for pass-thru clicks like that - and it'd be even better if you bought something from them and left a note saying thanks for sponsoring Ned!

I'd buy some stuff but I'm currently thousands of miles and 3-4 months away from my bikes

RIDE ON NED - Ride SAFELY too!!
