Great work!
Guessing you ran into some quad-tard and car traffic.

The time swapping is due to who leaves the start first. The second rider has the advantage of the first riders tracks to follow and can concentrate more on speed than on navigation. Depree and Coma are consistently finishing the stages 1-2, with whoever started second usually winning that day's stage. When you win the stage, you start first the next day.

edit:

Go NED GO!

Looks like it was an extremely fast stage today. His converted enduro bike is not going to shine in that kind of racing, especially with so many 450 RR 's out there. Also, Ned has said he's not willing to risk riding top speed into dust. He's taking it steady, looking at the long game.

...and from what I've seen of today's videos (with the exception of mudgate ) ...it looks like there was plenty of dust. Add to that, he started farther back in the field after having mechanical troubles the previous stage, meant that he likely had to deal with more car and quad traffic=lots of dust.

I'm glad to hear that he brought it home today..steady as a rock!

+1 Am not a super fan of the french, but normally enjoy Cyril's quiet style. This, however, confirms he is a DB! Bad Form :(

GO NED! Looking forward to the RallyRAIDio call tonight.

Well what a day of drama huh?

Can't wait to hear Ned's call-in later (well, it will be breakfast tomorrow for me I imagine)... they've been great so far - top work to all involved!

In the meantime, something I made earlier...

They would have been Colorado plates, but the CO DMV doesn't have the same facility to preview the plates...

Go Ned!
