It's not that big of a deal now that you're tipped off that there's something special there. It's another story if you hit it as we did the first time, without knowing it's a challenge. For bikes you'll either blast right through it, or crash hard on concrete with the bike landing on top of you. For cars, it might be impossible without a winch. Sun angle and shade can play a part in your success or failure here. "Hit" it at a heading of 0 degrees.

P.S. The mere mortal version will be better than the race version in several ways because of all of the testing and feedback from Ned and Chris

I'm not sure on the retail price. I think Chris is still working on that.

Racer Kit: $1650 +ship
Adventure Kit: $1600 +ship
both include:
- support and all s.s. hardware
- rigid lights
- SGmoto fairing
- bracket for roadbook (Racer kit)
- bracket for Ram/gps mount (Adventurer kit)

Just worked out a deal with MX1WEST for the 6Gal tanks. Those are available for purchase too.
Plan is to get store up and start taking orders this weekend.
Shit tomorrow is Thursday

Great timing.

The truck dropping off my brand spanking new 2010 KTM 530 XC-W shows up tomorrow sometime between 10 and 2.

What's the web site again?

PS: Hows the fit on the 3.4 gal tank?

What's the difference between the Race Kit & the Long Dist. Kit?

Very nice rally and adv kits Chris. What bikes and year range will the kits fit?

Great purchase!!!

The full fairing is designed around the 6.3. 3.4 is not as tall or wide as the 6.3 and you will not be able to secure the fairing properly. Side panels are fiberglass and you may be able to fab something up, but it will not be a clean or secure.

Race has a bracket for a roadbook, Adventure has a generic mount for Ram/gps. That is the only difference at this point.

Lets move this conversation to the vendors thread. (oh, I have to start that too )
